cusco city tour full day
ITINERARY:
We have three different schedules every day:
- 09:00 a.m.
- 10:00 a.m.
- 13:30 p.m.
-We begin our tour by visiting Qorikancha (temple of the sun), also known as "Santo Domingo", built on the base of the Inca temple dedicated to the Sun, with walls that express an extraordinary perfection.
-After that, we will ascend to Saqsayhuaman where we will be amazed by the gigantic rocks which weigh more than 350 tons and are over 9 meters tall (30 feet).
-Following our journey, we arrive at Qenqo, quechua word which means labyrinth or zig-zag. We will see a monolith which resembles a puma of about 6 meters, making a semicircular amphitheater.
-We are a few minutes away from Pukapukara, military fortress made up of walls, patios, and narrow streets.
-A few steps away we can find Tambomachay, know as "baños de la ñusta" (queen’s bath).
