Rainbow Mountain Cusco
ITINERARY:
- Frequency: Every day.
- Pick up: 04:00 hrs.
- Return: 19:30 hrs.
Argentina, China, and Peru are the only 3 places in the world in which we can find these beautiful mountains.
Located 100 km from Cusco is the place of Vinicunca in the district of Pitumarca, at 5000 m.a.s.l. surrounded by mountains such as Ausangate, one of the highest peaks of Peru, are these colorful terrains.
We will pick up the passengers from their hotels at approximately 04:00 hrs. to head to Pitumarca for an hour and a half, passing by Checacupe, arriving at the town of Quesiuno, where we will have breakfast before we start the 8 km hike. (approximately 3 hours).
We will be able to observe by ourselves the diverse Andean flora and fauna.
Once we arrive at Rainbow Mountain, a tour guide will take us through and explain its origin and history.
Only our eyes can describe this spectacular panorama of unimaginable colors; we will descent to Quesiuno to have lunch and return to Cusco.
